| Remember this mess of wires?
In 1997 the engine bay was actually pretty nice. I even made an effort to run the spark plug wires around the valve covers instead of over them. Over the years, it became more important to just run the damn thing than display it. I did enter a few car shows and even won one of em, but never with the hood open. |
Here we see the lucky mechanic who took on the challenge to tame the wires. He added some proper fuse blocks, replaced some 30 year old wires and did a heck of a job relocating the alarm system wires. He also is going to replace the vacuum tank hose with some super neat metal ones. He even painted em black! I can't recommend the boyz at Tune Tech enough. They are all certified mechanics and always do what needs to be done. |
Notice any improvements? We moved the Alarm system to behind the right headlight assembly and added a proper fuse block for that all important radar detector, police scanner and GPS system.
The vacuum tank lines have now been painted and will be installed soon. |
