This is the view behind the left front head light. You are looking at the MSD 6-AL ignition unit. I like the 6-AL because it has a chip controlled rev limiter and was really easy to install into the system.

You can also see the purple meep meep horn that is "the voice of the Roadrunner".

This is a shot of me and "Hemi" Craig dialing in the engine.

In this shot, we are messing around with that Carter Thermo-Quad 4bbl that seems to be stopping the engine to light the first time we tried it after the engine was re-installed into the engine bay.

We got it lit now and Hemi is gently pushing the throttle linkage to the "GO" position.

The sound of this big block, breathing through open headers inside the garage, was nothing short of inspiring.

Hemi was instrumental in getting this car back together again.

He knows his Mopars!

Here is a shot of the freshly restored engine. Note the dual snorkel air filter.

I put the Mopar performance valve covers over the rebuilt heads.

Notice the nice powder painted Hooker Headers, the new 26" radiator and one nasty looking alternator!

This is how she looks with the air filter removed. You can see what a nice job Hemi did with the 8.5mm spark plug wires.

I will soon replace that nasty looking fuel line and filter with the proper one from Year One.

I was unable to use the thermo-choke once I removed the original intake manifold, so I just don't worry about it.

Although I have the MSD module wired in, I left the stock Mopar ignition model on the fire wall.

I figured that if anything happened to the MSD unit, I could always rewire in the original ignition module.
